Sky Probes, Inc. manufactures high performance antennas for use where long range
communications on a handheld are required.
- Our high performance antennas set the standard for the
industry. These high performance antennas are the standard of the
industry and used by the U.S. Park Service, U.S. Forest Service and many other government
agencies where long range communications on a handheld are required. In 1995, a high
performance wideband base station antenna was added; providing an unprecedented 10 MHZ
bandwidth in the VHF high band; 20-50 MHZ wide in the UHF bands. This antenna was awarded
U.S. Patent 5,202,696.
- All are frequency swept and evaluated.
All of the Sky Probe antennas are frequency swept and evaluated for gain and V.S.W.R. on
sophisticated RF bridges with CRT monitors and crystal markers. This insures the high
performance of all of our antennas, for which we are well known.
- Our Applications Engineering Laboratory is ready to
assist you. Sky Probes maintains a well staffed and equipped
Applications Engineering Laboratory to assist you in selecting and optimizing its antennas
for your specific application.
- Many new antennas have been added to the line.
With the advent of the wireless age and the many F.C.C., Part 15 frequencies, many new
antennas, including helices, dipoles and yagi's, have been added to the line. Today, Sky
Probes manufactures in the USA and Taiwan and China as well.
